Name: Ramza Beoulve.
Canon: Final Fantasy Tactics.
OU/AU/OC: AU.
Canon Point: Post Chapter One/Post Theatrhythm.
History:
So how does Theatrhythm have a backstory?
Note: In this universe, Square released the iOS exclusive characters - including Ramza - for the 3DS version. Also all the DLC exists and is on it. AND, for Ramza, I use the War of the Lions translation.
It began at the end of Dissidia. Instead of World B fading away, it remained as a place where Lady Cosmos, a god-like being, lived. This World B was also forced into being a center of the universes. If it crumbled, everywhere would fade away.
This was an issue when Chaos came back to life, puppeted by an unknown force. Without the Warriors which had been summoned to fight it before, Cosmos - and the Final Fantasy multiverse - was doomed.
That is, until Shantotto popped in to save the day, by creating dolls. These dolls were given slight memories of the warriors who had been fighting - and many who had not. Cosmos took these dolls in, and taught them that they were those former warriors. It was a sweet lie. They were altered, though, so they would not miss their home worlds, the best Cosmos could.
(Some characters, however, still had homesickness Cosmos couldn't cure. Lightning, for one. Ramza sometimes gets those pangs of missing Alma, but he's just had to accept that he'll not see her again. He does not like it.)
These dolls were laced with magick which, if they were kept happy, they could create a barrier which could both repel and weaken Chaos, so the world wouldn't crumble. Killing Chaos would throw the worlds into issues, too, and create pure darkness. Soon, it was found that the best way to keep them happy was... music and dancing. With the help of Cosmos, the best songs that she could bring in were played daily, so that these dolls could dance happily and stop monsters. Along with them fighting things too, and travel though both environments and the memories of some of these characters.
This is the role Ramza played daily. Though he missed Alma and home, he also pondered what could have happened in his home after his memories. But he was the only Ivalician from his time - even the other Ivalicians were from the distant past. It might have been lonely to others, but Ramza was almost relieved. He didn't need to hide being a Beoulve to them.
Eventually, however, the dolls became strong enough to put Chaos into a slumber. The world turned to a place for them to just live, and form a new paradise for each other. There were still monsters, and fractured bits of other FF worlds, but it was peaceful.
Ramza had gotten used to this life, even if he was not sure of it. He ended up becoming the personal guard of Princess Ashe, to at least feel he had meaning in his world. Until the day he awoke as a pony...
As for Tactics, he has his canon backstory. Which is here. His memories cut off at the end of Chapter One, after the death of Tietra, and his abandonment of the Beoulve family.
Personality:
Strengths:
Passion. No matter what the task, once Ramza puts his mind to it, he has a passion and will stop and nothing to finish said thing.
Dance Skills. Yeah, due to his AU, he's got the dance skills.
Ramza is reliable - he won't allow himself to stray from helping somebody, once he has decided on it. In the future, Ramza does end up saving all of Ivalice to get his sister back, after all.
He is a team player - plus, he does have a big helpful streak. Even if he's a sellsword, he can't just leave somebody to die. (Unless it's Argath. Fuck rescuing him, that makes his mission so super hard.)
This isn't really much of his personality, but it is important to his world. In Ivalice, religion is a thing. It's not just a thing - it's rather strong in everybody. So, yes, Ramza has faith in the Gods. But everybody does in his world, give or take a few, so it's not unique? I'm just putting it here because I can okay. (No I am not going to talk your ear off about the mechanics of Faith and Bravery, but I do headcanon Ramza having both of those rather high, because of the scene later in the game where he still prays at the church even when he's been branded a heretic...
However, in roleplay terms, Brave and Faith won't affect his spells and attacks too much. Don't wanna make everybody else have to decide these stats!)
He still has his religion in World B - even if there's such a mash-up of different people and beliefs. He actually became good friends with Yuna, actually, due to them both having their deep beliefs.
== Powers Start ==
+ Theatrhythm powers!!! He's not going to have all his abilities, for one. Some of them are not that good to mix with others, and some of them just don't fit the game. For example, Sacrifice. (Wherein he'd die to save another life.)
Fira, Blizzara, Thundara: These spells all damage a moderate amount with the specified element.
To Limit: They will be weakened to their Level 1 versions - so a little flame, ice, or thunder.
Cura: Heals a moderate amount of injury.
To Limit: Ramza will only be able to heal small scrapes and the such.
Cheer: Cheer makes other people slightly stronger. By... Ramza yelling at them.
To Limit: I think this is fine - I've already removed the more powerful version he has.
Lance: Drains opponents strength to heal his own injuries.
To Limit: I'd assume that not only would he not use this in favour of just hitting with a rapier, it won't really drain that much damage back.
Dash: Speeds him up a little bit, along with anybody nearby.
To Limit: I also think this is fine - he would only use it every day or so.
Power Break: Weakens opponents strikes.
To Limit: He could only use it once per opponent.
Souleater: Uses his own power, which weakens him, to strike stronger.
I also think this needs no limiting, since Ramza would only use it rarely and it would probably damage him quite a bit.
He will also have some of his FFT skills. These will be:
Throw Stone/Stone: Wherein... he throws a stone. And it hits somebody. Because how do you even steal/limit something like this. :T
Chant: Wherein Ramza would give some of his own strength to heal - a bit like a combination of Cura and Souleater.
This will be as strong as Cura without limiting, which means he can probably help with a sprained ankle or something, but he'll get injured the same amount as the healing.
== Powers End ==
Let's just put his morals here - his strong sense of right and wrong, one which does change over the course of his canon - but since Ramza is early-canon, I would put it as both a plus and minus.
Weaknesses:
Though Ramza has been to a world like World B, change still takes time for him - and adjusting to a difference life. Though he is a quiet boy, change is something which is rough on him - and what is a larger change then being lost in a land like this, as a monster? Not much, I'd wager.
He was almost coddled by his siblings - keeping his naive of the world outside the Akademy. He may be disgusted by his brothers, but he does have a certain nativity to his actions. In other words, he may act better then you, but that's just because of his upbringing. Or, in other words, he still speaks in that noble way, even when trying to be a commoner. Even as he tries to speak like somebody of this era, it will be jarring.
Even though he spent so much time with other people in World B...
Speaking of, class struggles! Though Ramza doesn't do it intentionally, he does respect people of higher class quite a bit, and does treat people by their position - a position is rather important to him, even as he tries to act the part of a lowblood. He'll still stand tall as a noble, and this might make him clash with many ponies and people.
Ramza is not a liar - except of his last name, of course. Right now, he is going by Lugria - but he will not lie to better himself. For example, he wouldn't let Delita take the fall for leaving their posts to save the Marquis. So, don't trust him with a secret that'll make things go worse if it's blabbed.
He is also rather trusting of people - even those he should not be. All people should be good, after all.
And seeing as Ramza is a doll, and he does not see this odd... well, this Ramza never needed to really do anything to exist, and couldn't bleed either. The fact he knows these things do exist, however, will not make him fully perplexed - but he will act strange the first time he sees blood or injuries.
Possessions:
Unicorn!
Cutie Mark:
Ramzas' Cutie Mark is a House-Beoulve coloured version of the Ivalice Alliance sword. As seen here.
He'll be using his cape to hide it, though.
Pony Picture:

SAMPLES
First Person:
How do you deal with feeling homesick for two different places? I long for either of them - I miss those of Ivalice, and those of the Second World.

Third Person:
The chill of rain was something Ramza felt used to. He'd normally just shake it off, use a Fira spell to warm him and his allies, and trudge on.
But what was there to trudge onto, here in... Ponyville. Ponyville, what an odd name! And these creatures - the closest he'd seen to them in his travels was the steed of Odin. Were these creatures - Ponies, he'd heard them called - related to that steed?
...No. That seems improbable. Not as improbable as being shapeshifted to such a creature, but. Plus, he'd seen no humans, no creatures who could even be called Human-like in this world.
As Ramza continued on the wet road, though, he paused. A sweet smell had reached his new nostrils, and... that's when he saw it.
A cake.
Sitting in the rain, slightly soggy. Had somebody dropped it? Ramza quickly rushed over, to examine it. This was the sort of... well, problems he'd expect in such a colourful world. As he looked it over, shrugging his cape over it (getting a few pieces of soggy icing stuck to said cape), he thought though his few scenarios. If he were to use magick to dry it off, it would just get wet again. But if he used his unicorn magick to hover it, would he not drop some of it? He was still getting used to manipulating that aura - something he would try and not fail.
Could he freeze it with Blizzara, and then shift it that way? Or perhaps the person who dropped it already knew it was here, and had gone to buy a new one. There were so many options, ones Ramza couldn't even think of!
But, for once, he knew one thing. Dance was not the answer. He glanced around - was there another pony to help him out? He didn't want to have to rush off... help?

As for Tactics, he has his canon backstory. Which is here. His memories cut off at the end of Chapter One, after the death of Tietra, and his abandonment of the Beoulve family.
Personality:
Ramza lived as a Beoulve until his canon point - the orignal Ramza, that is. And this one as well. He was treated as a noble - in World B, though he wasn't always treated as a noble, he still recalls his life at home as one. He walks as a noble, he talks like one - when you first see the youth, you'll see what looks like a stuck up squire standing there, his glance probably turning to stare at you with his normal expression of... lineface? The slightest of frowns.
If you get to talk to Ramza, though, you'll learn he's not as stuck up as his brothers, or even most other Squires at the Akademy he trained at until recently. He actually knows how to take a joke. However, Ramza is a serious young boy - he's not one to give a yell of cheer (unless it is the sort of Cheer to speed up his allies), he is one more to see the world with a slight frown, keeping his noble stance. He is also not the sort to suck up praise and smile at it. He works hard to prove he is worthy of being a Beoulve, and he can enjoy being praised without needing to show off.
However, he does enjoy praise, it does make him feel good. Duh. Even his sister, the person Ramza feels closest too in his family, notices this - and is worried for her brother. Oh well.
His interactions with others are actually important - the way he treats people... unlike his brothers, or other nobles, Ramza tries his hardest not to judge people on their class. However, he has trouble with this - he can't see the life of a commoner, no matter how hard he tries. Even though he knows him and Delita are friends, he still has the slightest tinge of seeing himself better then him, and far better then the common thieves and rouges that travel the lands, trying to bring down the noble families. He has a strange sense of confidence - though he knows he is not better then his brothers, he is confident on the battlefield, knowing he's stronger then the common man. He also has a slight ego about his dancing skills, and sometimes feels he is better then most of the other dancers.
As an aside, Ramza is not aware of what he is. He tries to get along, at least a little, with all the other people with him in Theatrhythm. Some of them it works, but he just cannot get along with some of those people - but will not mention it to them. He'll just stay with his allies.
However, Ramza is also the sort of guy to do what's right without stopping and falling back. For example, the whole plot to rescue the marquis, he didn't care he was abandoning his own duties. (Though, to be honest, at this canon point? Ramza idly wonders if doing this was truly the right thing. Because of it, Tietra died... right? But he doesn't blame himself for that, in any way.) Even if he is easily manipulated by the praise of the Duke... if Tietra hadn't died in that battle, if Delita hadn't swayed Ramza from saving Milleuda, Ramza may have ended up doing quite a bit of villain stuff. Though - Ramza is also the sort to not just draw his blade, when there are still words to say. He wants to try to help people, not just run them over.
Ramza, as I mentioned already, is serious about his studies. He is rather book smart, because of that - well, book smart for Ivalice. He knows quite a bit about the history of the land, as well as smaller things, like what the word 'sietch' means in Ivalice. He also has no qualms over killing people to uphold how the world should be - that is, he had none of them... until Tietra died, and he ran from his own past, right now.
So, to finish this personality? Ramza has quite a bit of self-doubt, but he won't let that get in the way of his true goals - which are, right now, to protect World B and find a way to see Alma again.
His morals, which were guided by his father, aren't just like that. He wishes to... well, have a quote!
'Tolerate no injustice. Stray not from the true path. You will know the path you must walk. A Beoulve can walk no other...'
And that is what Ramza is trying, even now, as he has abandoned the name of Beoulve. Even if justice is trying to break reality to see his family once more.
Strengths:

- A rapier, like the one in his official art. So he can wield it and feel less defenseless.
- A pouch of Potions, and other generic healing items.
- A few CollectaCards - mostly of the other playable characters of Theatrhythm. Of course he collects them. :T
- A shard of the crystal which gathers Rhythmia - it can also play a few songs, if Ramza uses his unicorn magick on it. (These songs will be Eternal Wind [FMS], Home Sweet Home [EMS], and Antipyretic [BMS].)
Unicorn!
Cutie Mark:

First Person:
[Text post! Striked-out stuff is stuff which Ramza wrote, but edited out a few hours after posting it. And yes, he did sign his post with his name at the bottom, in Ivalice Script.]
'Tis another fine day, is it not? I've been here for a few weeks - though the time does not fly, 'tis still rather calm in this land.
Where I came from, I was a bodyguard - is that the term used in Ponyville - to a very important woman - I fear, however, that I have grown weaker without training. Shall any of you endeavor to train alongside me, I would appricate it - 'twould not be just for I. Though I've no skill in teaching, I shall make sure to keep our fight fair.
My mind has wandered to think of our situation, however. I've no clue if I should be here - even though we've been summoned by... well, it would not be the will of Lady Cosmos. I cannot help but wonder, if 'tis just fate that brings us together. We would not simply be chosen by chance - were any of you known for positions of power in your land - or even known as strong?
Thank you for your replies - I shall endeavor to respond to all of them.
